About

Connor Jacob Bowen

The night of July 14, 2022, changed our lives forever.

Connor Jacob Bowen lived his short 19 ½ years full of life, love and laughter.  When he wasn’t playing or listening to music, he was spending quality time with his friends and family.  An Eagle Scout with over 1000+ service hours, he left this earth making an impact on everyone he met both young and old.

Anyone who met Connor, knew him for his great smile, sharp wit and compassionate spirit.  He grew up within a strong and supportive family and was humble with all that was given.  But compassion and love for others was what motivated Connor throughout his life.

At the age of fifteen, Connor’s parents, Bruce and Laura Bowen challenged Connor each year with providing an individual he encountered that year with a “scholarship” type recognition.  This individual must have had a positive influence on his life and had also had a need whereby this scholarship would be impactful.  Not someone who needed an X-box or new tires on their car.  But someone who would use this scholarship as an investment into their own future.

After Connor’s tragic death, the gifts of support from those that Connor had impacted overwhelmed his grieving parents.  To honor Connor’s memory and to continue his legacy in “paying it forward”, the Connor Bowen Foundation was created.

Managed by a Board of Directors, The Connor Bowen Foundation continues Connor’s individual approach to giving in hopes to make an individual impact on others.  100% of the monies raised will be provided to individuals or charitable organizations who share the same passions as Connor.  Passions such as Music, Technology, Nature and his college- University of Houston.

As a 501©(S) organization, all donations to the Connor Bowen Foundation are tax deductible.  Upon request, a receipt will be provided for tax purposes.  Donations will allow The Connor Bowen Foundation to continue in the years to come.
